This page uses the Akismet-Plugin of Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110-4929, USA.

This plugin is used to differentiate between spam and comments of real people. To do so, all comment-data is sent to servers located in the United States of Amerca, where the data is analyzed and stored for 4 days for reference-reasons

Data of comments marked as spam is stored bejond those 4 days.

The send data contains the provided name, the mail-address, the IP-address, the actual comment, the referrer, your browsers user-agend as well as the comment-time. You are welcome to use a pseudonym.

To prohibit sending the data, you are free not to use the comment-system. That would be a pity, but I see no alternative to provide comments otherwise.

You can enter an objection for the usage of your data for the future by providing the data under objection@heigl.org.

This website allows you to add comments to posts I wrote or to other comments.

While doing so you your email-address, name and full IP-Address will be send to the server and will be stored as long as the comment is visible. Comments will be moderated.
