For a Lot of People it might Be an old Story, but I just discovered the possibilities of the XML-RPC-Connector in my wordpress-blog.

It Makes editing so much easier on the Train or at the Next Break. Just open an offline-editor (I am using the wordpress-app on my iPod) And Start happy editing.

The only drawback is the Auto-Text-correction, that I have Not yet managed to Turn off and that more than once translates a Perfect english word into German garbage…. But that’s not wordpress’ fault, isn’t it?

Creating invisible users in Mac OS-X (Snow)Leopard

Recently I wanted to install a software no my Mac that required a dedicated user. So I created a user via the GUI-Interface and noted, that the user now was visible in the login-screen, which I didn’t want to happen.

Barcamp Darmstadt

This weekend I will be attending my first BarCamp ever!

On the 20th and 21th of November Darmstadt hosts the second BarCamp at the Rhine-Main-Region. And I will be one of the about 300 people attending.

And to make that BarCamp more interesting to the PHP-Community, we try to coordinate a complete track on PHP-related sessions. Being a novice to the BarCamp I want to give a session and choose to introduce Zend_Form as it is one of the components of the ZendFramework that makes my life as Developer easier every day.

So let’s see what the weekend brings!

Starting a Usergroup

Not that I am familiar with it, having until now only attended existing usergroups. But for the last few months I was thinking of starting a local Usergroup in my area, so I already searched for some resources that would help me get started.
